CareSource “Just4Me”

CareSource needed a web video introducing their offering for the Health Insurance Marketplace.  With a limited budget and the need to cover a broad range of demographics, I used all stock video clips to produce this piece.  It was a fun exercise exploring what is possible with stock clips.

CareSource “Nurse Advice Line”

This is one of a series of Web videos I shot and edited for CareSource, a healthcare insurance provider.  The series consists of healthcare tips designed to educate their members on how to stay healthy.

Humana “What Do You Expect?”

I was Executive Producer with Finelight when we did this branding spot for Humana with Maxx Films, Toronto.  We shot in Chicago with Dan Hackett handling the studio live action direction and Rick Phillips as the still photographer for the location work.  Filmworkers handled the editorial and Circa Music provided the score.  Barry Zeidman produced.  This was actually shot before the first iPad release, but the CG screen looks pretty close.

Humana “Turning 65”

Targeted to “aging in” Medicare clients, this spot was a highly collaborative motion design exercise with the creative team at Finelight and Alberto Scirocco of Leftchannel. Allen DiCenzo of Circa Music provided the score.

Personal Care “Itchy Rash”

This was a fun project that picked up a number of awards. The challenge was to keep the process simple. Mini budget, great creative, fantastic execution. Neal Daunhauer, Creative Director with Finelight, came up with the concept, Alberto Scirocco with Mills-James provided the animation. Allen DiCenzo with Circa Music handled the music. I produced this for Finelight.

HumanaOne “All for the Family”

While I was at Finelight we shot this DR spot for HumanaOne individual health insurance. Lightborne handled production and post for us. Ron Hamad directed.

Humana “Hello Humana”

This video has always been a favorite of mine. I’ve collected postcards and maps since I was a kid, so when Humana came to us for a video announcing their milestone of having products in all 50 states, it wasn’t hard to figure out the rest. Which is a good thing, because we had to turn it around in three weeks, including all the interviews from around the country. The song was co-written by the Finelight creative team and Allen DiCenzo of Circa Music, the motion graphics were provided by Leftchannel and I produced for Finelight.

Humana “Shopping Bag”

Pixar-style animation was used for a shopping bag with a lot of character. Blah Blah Blah hooked us up with Quietman out of NY to produce this English and a Spanish version of the spot. Sound design and score by Circa Music.  I produced this while at Finelight. Neal Daunhauer was the Creative Director.

HumanaOne “Salesman”

This simple spot has been the all-time best performing DR spot for HumanaOne for years. We developed a number of other successful spots for this product, but none out-performed this one. It was produced with a very low budget, but captured the right emotion for response by Humana’s audience. It was directed and edited by Mark Burson. Motion graphics by Leftchannel. I produced this for Finelight.
